Transitioning From Worker To Parent
Leaving your working self at work at the end of the day can be very difficult at times. A good starting point is to actually focus your thoughts away from the stresses of your work environment and concentrate on your family concerns as you are on your way home, if at all possible find a little private time for yourself to wind down.
Some things you can do to maximize your family time:
Use your imagination, the whole point is to ‘power down’ before you get home, and stay that while you’re interactng wth your children, if you can do just that, you’ll see a vast improvement in your and your family’s quality time together.
