Outdoor or Indoor activities & Active or Quiet time
With the arrival of summer weather, traveling, sightseeing, excursions, nature walks and outdoor physical games are an easy and natural thing to do. It’s a great way for kids to explore new places, learn
new things, and meet new people. Take advantage of afternoon weekday activities that are available to you and extend the summer fun to more than the handful of weekends you’d ordinarily take advantage of, make full use of the longer daylight hours.
To escape the heat for a few hours, or on a rainy afternoon, good alternative activities are; reading together, imaginary play, watching an interesting video or exploring a new (educational) website together. These are all fun and educational alternatives that both parents and kids will enjoy, as well as provide quiet time for you and your children
