Dear Mandy,
I'm writing from Portugal. My daughter has also lost a TASSA bought in IKEA. However her TASSA is slightly different from yous son's. Hers is apparently an anteater(?! I never would have guessed!)) and has no black nose. Its ears are smaller and is light blue. I guess IKEA had different toys in different countries... I found the exact same one in eBay but it costs 35USD. Do you know were I can find a cheaper one? Thank you.

Just found one for me on eBay France, and there are two available in Germany too. Try this page http://cgi.ebay.de/IKEA-Hund-Tassa-Stofftier-Kuscheltier-blau-Pluesch-TOP_W0QQitemZ360057816364QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item360057816364&_trkparms=72:1126|39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Hope this helps!

I also have been experiencing the exact same symptoms as Jim who posted on June 9 2008. I have been so worried about it too. I am extremely angry that Crest doesn't have warnings about this on their product. I freaking thought I had cancer or some funky STD. I have been googling this for over 2 months trying to figure out what it could be. Well at least now I know. Not only am I going to dump all their lousy product down the drain. I am going to make up business cards with this info about their product and pass them out to everyone I see so no one else has to feel as scared as I did when these symptoms occured. Crest should recall this product ASAP. I am going to call them too and tell them how I feel. This is NOT RIGHT that they can scare people this way and not even let them know that it is a possible side effect of the product. Thank you all so much for taking the time to post your experiences on here. Without you guys I would still be sitting here scared right now over the burns and bumps inside my mouth. thank you thank you thank you!!

I found this site very interesting indeed as Mr Geoffrey Trew performed a laparoscopy on my wife in Sept 2005, after the procedure she was in a lot of pain, sickness, loss of appetite. My Geoffrey Trew suggested that she was to be observed for 24 hours, yet as the hours turned into a few days she was getting increasingly worse, with spiking temperatures vomiting and in severe stomach pain. Mr Trew's and Stuart Lavery’s idea was to manage my wife's condition conservatively and that he would take good care of her. 10 Days passed she was still in hospital extremely unwell, Mr Trew announced that she was getting better and she would be discharged in the morning, that night my wife had a 10 hour emergency operation, left in I.C.U for 4 weeks fighting for her life with multiple organ failure 20% survival rate, after 4 weeks she was transferred to Torbay Hospital being barrier and quarantined nursed, she was discharged 13 months later after having 4 Major operations, came out on October 06 left disabled. We got no support from either of theses Doctors or the IVF Clinic, anyway not long now before wife situation becomes very public knowledge.
Regards. Darren Cox. My was 33 years of age when this happened.

I have been using Crest Pro Health Toothpaste for about 3 weeks now and the inside of my cheeks have a rough texture kind of like a cats tongue. There also seems to be slight chemical burns or patches all over the inside of my mouth, with slight red lines surrounding the patches. I called Crest today, June 10th, 2008 and they told me they have had "some complaints" about this, and that it was the product doing it's job.

Are they kidding me? Why would I, or anyone else, want open sores from Crest Pro Health, EATING AWAY the lining of their mouth?

I am now too nervous to kiss anyone, because as everyone knows, you can catch many things with open cuts or openings in your mouth.

If anyone can direct me to a good lawyer I would be greatfull.

I am VERY UPSET about this. I always maintain good oral hygene, and I do not want to worry that my mouth tissue is being eaten away by Crest Pro Health, which could risk the integerity of the lining of my mouth.

I think it is also important to teach your child to do their homework well the first time. Take your time to get all of the answers correct. Take pride in your work. Too often, children rush through homework to be able to get to play or watch TV. I suggest setting an amount of time for them to do their homework. If they finish early, they can double check their answers. This helps to teach them to slow down.

And one more point: the real perverts, and child abusers, here are CPS and the State of Texas. People who condone what they have done fall into the same category.
